Colton Arnold is a Baltimore based multimedia artist, electronic performer, sound designer, and audio visualizer creator. Through the wide variety of his work, Colton creates a new sonic experience for the audience in every performance, accomplished via sound installations, electro-acoustic performances, solo and group electronic improvisation.
With his extreme interests in Max, Arduino, and TouchDesigner, Colton uses this as his playground for most of his work. His main area of study focuses on ways to increase his knowledge in these specific softwares and hardware leading to extraordinary audio-visual experience for the audience. 
At Peabody, Colton also began VVAVEs, an award winning student-run electronic concert series his sophomore year. This series has monthly concerts that help give more opportunities for students to perform a wide variety of electronic music, from ambient, to hyperpop, to noise music. He helped bring together a student collective to help make the concerts smooth and a great experience for the audience and performers. 
Colton is a recent graduate of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University with a B.M in Computer Music. His principal teachers include the likes of  Lyn Goeringer, Sam Pluta, Margaret Schedel, and Geoffery Wright. While at Peabody, Colton has had world premieres of his pieces and visualizers in their Laptop Ensemble and departmental recitals.
